Chelsey’s story

Save Homeless animals in our Community! Give Now button

No animal deserves the life Chelsey had before she came to the Auburn Valley Humane Society. She was a breeding machine to produce adorable babies to be sold. She was exhausted, alone, and defeated.

Thank goodness she was rescued. Support from amazing friends like YOU  saved this sweet girl’s life. Healing from the torment of her life wasn’t easy, but Chelsey deserved a chance. She had lots of scars on her face defending herself and her puppies. She had a rough light to start.  We count on the support of great friends like you to provide the resources we need to see Chelsey through to better days. She was nervous when she arrived, but she had hope. We could see it in her eyes.

Your Spring Fund Drive gift – or whatever you are inspired to give – spring fund drivewill provide lifesaving care for innocent animals like Chelsey who had nowhere else to turn. Your support
provides food, lifesaving medical and dental care, a safe place to sleep, and unconditional love for animals like Chelsey. Having a foster home helped her heal her scars and teach her to give and receive love. Please give now and help save lives.
Chelsey, also known as Greilani, was a 3 year old Pit Bull Terrier. She’s a big goofball but has lots of potential for the right owner. She has healed her scars and abuse. She loves to de-stuff toys so we gave her indestructible toys. She loves baths and bathtime with her new family. She was adopted in February, 2018.

Saving a homeless animal won’t change the world… but for the animal like Chelsey, the world changes forever. For more than 2,100 animals who come to Auburn Valley Humane Society each year, their lives are changed forever.

Greilani_1Chelsey says THANK YOU for your gift no matter how large or small.
