Thanks to our supporters!

Phoenix Lab

Little Rey was brought to our shelter by Auburn Animal Control Officers.  Our AVHS Veterinary staff discovered that she was very sick. She was diagnosed with liver disease. Thanks to a wonderful foster home, she is improving and should be ready for adoption in the future. Rey has had many blood tests to determine the cause of her sickness. AVHS wants to thank Phoenix Lab for their partnership in helping to subsidize the cost of her bloodwork. They have been a part of our northwest community since 1989 and an AVHS partner since 2013!

Toril Sells Houses

The Toril Sells Houses team is always committed to giving back to the community. They launched their philanthropy program “Give Back Big Mission 2018” which focused on five core areas: children, health, homelessness, education and animals. AVHS is proud to partner with them to help the animals. They have raised over $14,000 in 2018. Thank you to all of the Toril Sells Houses Team!

The team has raised $48,426.42 through the 2018 year giving back to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, World Vision, HelpingHandHouse, Fred Hutch, and Auburn Valley Humane Society.

EZ-ACCESS  is headquartered in Algona providing access to life beyond barriers. They provide accessibility for ramps, lifts, toilet lifts and so much more home products. Their employees went all out during the whole year to raise $1674.00 for the puppies and the kitties at the AVHS shelter.

Special thanks to The New 98.9 The Bull’s challenge on Friday, October 19. The Bull’s, Tim, Red and Claire partnered with the Auburn Valley Humane Society to have each person who donated to AVHS, was given a chance at bring the Starry Starry Jameson Painting home! Each hour random donors received tickets to Fright Fest at Wild Waves Theme & Water Park or tickets to VetsAid featuring Chris Stapleton at the Tacoma Dome on November 11th. Because of the radio listeners’ donations, AVHS will be able to change more lives. AVHS and The Bull raised $2,036.

Many thanks to Solei Day Spa staff and customers who made it possible to give the dogs at Auburn Valley Humane Society – 15 new comfy beds from the sales of Farmhouse Fresh “Is it True They Call You the Dog Bed Fairy?” Each month FarmHouse Fresh Goods donates money from the book sales towards the purchase of dog beds to a shelter. For more details, FarmHouseFreshGoods.com. Our AVHS staff partnered with Solei Day Spa in Lakeland to celebrate the new beds. The dogs are so excited…

Awesome Verity Credit Union Team volunteered on a BANKING HOLIDAY in October to help the lost and homeless animals at the Auburn Valley Humane Society. Kudos for completing the backyard edging project, staining project, the adoption packets, and laminating all new kennel signs for us. Super thanks to the awesome team!
