You may complete the court-ordered community service application below.
We review and reach out to you when we are making assignments.
Court-ordered community Service hours are available at the Auburn Valley Humane Society Animal Shelter, Northwest Spay & Neuter Center, and the AVHS Thrift Store & More. Opportunities are available for individuals 18 years of age and older who have been court-ordered to perform community service of 8 or more hours. The following guidelines must be met to be accepted.
Typically, AVHS accepts court-ordered community service for these types of violations: DUI (alcohol), DWI (alcohol), traffic violations, and other similar violations.
AVHS will not accept those convicted of the following:
- Felonies
- Narcotics or controlled substance offenses
- Sex Crimes

Participants who successfully complete their community service hours will be given verification of hours and a letter of completion on AVHS letterhead that the applicant will deliver to the court.
