AVHS alone adopted over 253 cats and kittens during the first quarter. We still have over 45 cats, kittens, and 7 dogs in our foster care. The kittens and cats need many supplies to grow healthy and thrive. We appreciate your generosity!

Kitten season is upon us! We appreciate your continued support!

• In the Northwest, kitten season is typically between April and October, but can continue throughout the year.

• We will have 2-3 kittens arriving at the shelter every day. One Sunday, 12 new neonates and kittens arrived, and there are 116 kittens and cats in foster care and at the shelter.

• Auburn Valley Humane Society provides shelter, food, medical care, fostering, and love to neonates, young kittens, and nursing mommas so that they can thrive.

• Your gifts for our virtual Kitten Shower ensure that our fosters have the supplies they need to nurture the kittens, allowing them to grow healthy and socialize them for new adoptive homes.
