Myrtle’s Story
It all started when…
Hi, I’m Myrtle, and I came to AVHS as a stray. I am a 10-year-old cat living my best life in my new home! Adopting senior cat Myrtle has been amazing. She is absolutely a wonderful cat and she is now living her best life! I’ve taken her to the vet for her check-up and to make sure she is healthy and on track. Myrtle has adjusted into the home perfectly and she even loves the dog now! I must say Myrtle licks me more than my dog does. Sometimes Myrtle just does a walk by lick, but every time she gets pets she purrs so loudly and just starts licking away. Myrtle is delightful, sweet, and well behaved. She is a big fan of the laser pointer and her toys, but only for about 5-10 minutes a day. The rest of the day she follows me around, being a lap cat, in the blinds looking outside, or lounging on the couch.
The staff was extremely great to work with during the adoption process. Senior cats are the best to adopt, along with senior dogs. I’m a huge advocate for it.
