Dog Basic/Good Manners Starter Class

This is a great way to learn some basics to train your dog and ask the trainer questions. This is purely a lecture and demo class that may give you some tips and suggestions when you are working with your dog at home. You are invited to attend the class WITHOUT your dog.
Class is a 90-minute starter class to start you off on the right paw with your canine companion, whether it is a puppy, an adult dog or senior dog. Please DO NOT BRING your dog to class.
Our AVHS volunteer, Jan Magnuson, will be instructing the class. She has over 40 years of experience working with all breeds of dogs. She is with SUNSTAR Dog Training and is the former Des Moines Animal Control Officer.
